I believe that Edward because I do forget a lot after I’ve listened to something which is why I always write things down. I have so many notes it’s not even funny. You are right, you definitely remember so much more when you took notes.

Oh yeah, there is magic in writing. Writing in a note book is literally like writing into our subconscious mind. We only retain 20% of the incoming information that we read, hear within 2 weeks. That’s one of the reason I put out blog post about the things I learn. I cross my fingers and hopefully it will stick. LOL!Akos

I have to agree – I have to write things down… even the fascinating facts I seem to forget… sad!! I have a ridiculous amount of notes like a few of the others have commented.. I need to get better at writing down ‘key’ items… not everything!! Someone also made a comment about blogging about the things you hear (like you said… go back and take a look!!) – very valid.

Making a list checking it twice gee where have I herd that. Awesome Idea. Great way to stay organized. Can be done with paper and even with a to do list on a smart phone with reminders if you get at the end of day and have not completed some of the items on the list. Also set priorities and more items if need be to other days.
