Do you know what it takes to create a large downline in your network marketing business?

It really is simple to do.

Well, simple doesn’t mean easy, so that is why most people don’t actually do it.

But for those who have the passion, desire, drive, and are willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen, then these are the secrets that will help you do it.

The business of network marketing is one of distributors building their own front line and then teaching their team how to duplicate that process and create a front line of their own.

Now we know that most people that you partner with in this business won’t duplicate or build their own front line, so you have to keep recruiting people and building yours until you find those hidden gems of people that want what you want just as much or even more than you do. They are out there, don’t give up the search for them. This is also know as the “Go-wide strategy” The fact that if you go wide building your front line the depth of your organization will take care of itself.

The biggest secret that all the top leaders use to build and support a large downline is this.

It can be described in just three words.

Here they are…

“You Call Me.”

Yep, that’s it. If you implement this one thing into your business and then into the culture of your team, the people who are building and growing will be the ones that call you. Oh there will be some others that call to, but you will learn quickly who are the leaders, movers, and shakers. Who will be going the distance with you. Now there can be some exceptions, and people can change… sometimes. But if you implement this one three word phrase into your business building and team culture, you will grow a huge organization and downline.

Do you know how to handle rejection in your network marketing business?

Rejection is just part of the territory when it comes to growing your home business, or any other business for that matter. It is even considered the path you need to take to get to the top and have success.

One of my life philosophies is… “Failure is the only option on the journey to success, Defeat is not!”

How do you deal with rejection in your business?

Let’s take a look at the top 3 areas where rejection can show up as you build your business:

1. Friends and Family

This is the first place that rejection usually shows up for people when they get started in their business. Most new business owners are so excited about what they are involved in, that they want to tell everyone and even try to convince them to see what they see. Usually it is the people closest to you, friends and family, who do not see what you see when you get started. They are skeptical and want to make sure you are safe. What this comes out as is rejection.

If you have experienced this with a new network marketing company in your network marketing career, don’t worry you’re not alone and it’s not your fault. In most cases, it comes down to lack of training before you approach this important market in your business which is your warm market.

There is another way. Consider getting all of the people in your warm market as Allies for your business. Talk to them about what you are doing, just like you got a new job, give them some information, put them on your newsletter list, and ask them if they come across anyone who is looking for what you do to refer them to you. This is the best way to avoid rejection and turn potential adversaries into allies.

2. Building Too Slowly
Most people start strong in their network marketing business, but without seeing immediate results, they get discouraged. Their prospecting slows down and as a result, these new networkers focusing on those who rejected the opportunity rather than on those who accepted and invitation to look at their business. Prospecting small numbers makes rejection seem bigger than it really is.

When you get outside your warm market, network marketing is a numbers game. Your main role as a business builder is to get more information in front of more people. Inviting people to take a look at what you have requires you find people who are interested in what you have to offer.

So if your numbers are low of people to present to, time to get trained on marketing. Understanding your customer and where they hang out and what goes on in your head will allow you to create a message to market match. Once you get to this point, it is almost like magic for people seeing what you have to joining you in business. In the online world, this is know as Attraction Marketing.

3. Taking Rejection Personally
This is the biggest one for most people. Don’t take rejection personally, but merely as an indication that the timing isn’t right in those people’s lives. Remember that your only job is to invite people to take a look at what you have to offer. If you are finding this to be an issue that is stopping you from moving forward in building your business, then here is a tip that could help you out. One that I learned a while ago, and continue to use today. Don’t get attached to the results. Just focus on delivering the information and inviting people to take a look at your business without the need to have a specific result of them joining you.

So there you have it.

3 Keys To Moving People Into Action!


Do you know what it takes to move people into action and make a decision?

Have you every had a challenge with people taking action or making a decision to join your business?

Maybe your are offering them a product or service that you know will help them out, but they sit their on the fence and don’t take action!

Sound familiar?

If you have been marketing products and/or building a business for any period of time, then you maybe familiar with these. But if you are just getting started, these keys can help unlock the success that you are looking for within your sales funnel and cycle.

It has been said, that the business of network marketing is one of a ‘volonteer army’

What I mean by that is that the people you partner with in your business have to self-driven and want to succeed in the opportunity that is before them. If you try to convince them or persuade them into doing things that they don’t want to do for themselves, then when things don’t work out, they will blame you, the industry, and the company for their failure. Your job is to just allow people to make a decision to take action.


Here are 3 key psychological factors that will move anyone into immediate action:

1. Give Them A Deadline

Giving someone a deadline gives them a reason to move forward. For most people, without a reason to take action now or soon they will most likely not take action at all. It is important to give a well defined deadline to let them know that they might not have time in the future to take action and the time to take action is NOW!

It is fundamental human nature that people will wait until the best conditions or when the timing is right to take action. By giving deadlines, you take that choice and way of thinking away from them.

2. Limit Their Options

When people have too many things to choose from, it limits their ability to decide what they really want. Confusion usually sets in, and then it moves to frustration in some cases, and ultimately results in no decision or action being taken at all. What happens in this case is that most people do not want to be seen ask making a ‘wrong’ or ‘bad’ decision. Therefore, fewer choices results in faction decision and moving into action.

3. The Law of Inertia

Has someone every told you… “Objects in motion stay in motion”?

Well guess what? The same applies to people too!!!

Let me explain…

When people are in the mall they are most likely in the ‘buying mode’ and usually end up walking out of the mall with more than they went in for!

Sound familiar?

I know I can relate.

Now I know that this sounds like a simple example, but the point is that people that buy tend to continue to buy. If they buy from you once, they will most likely buy from you again. How does it get any better than this? They usually continue to buy until one of two things happen… 1. they run out of money or 2. they run out of time. Believe it or not, that is how most people work and why most people suffer and never make any money in the home business industry.

There you have it.

The 3 keys to moving people into action that will create more sales for your business.

5 Simple Tips For Article Marketing Success!

Alright, here are 5 simple tips to get you started with article marketing…

1. The Article Title

This is the most important part of the article. Consider it like a headline that is used to grab peoples attention to decide whether to read your article of not. When choosing your title, people want to know what the top 7 or 5 things are. Odd numbers work best! Use 101 ways not 100 ways. One exception is a top 10 list. People are always searching for more information and giving them a quick list of facts is always a good way to keep them reading. Check out the title of this post… “5 Simple Tips For Article Marketing Success!”

2. The Summary
Every Article has a section for a Summary also know as a teaser. This is the second most important part of your article besides the title, because it will allow people to decide whether to read the rest or not. When writing an article, use a 2 -5 line Teaser that will peak the interest of people that are looking for your topic. One of the best things to do is ask a question and promise the answer within the article itself.

3. The Article Body

You may want to create your main copy of your Article in word or some other editor and paste that article in this area. The article should be short and to the point, 250 at the least and 500 words at most. Make sure that it is something that will maintain your readers interest. If you choose something like the 5 ways to _________ , then list those 5 things and give a short summary on each. Make sure it is easy on the eyes, interesting and compelling. Around 400 words is best. If it goes longer, then you should consider splitting it into two articles. This is good as it will increase traffic too! Your main topic should include things like advice, product or business reviews, or ways to do something.

4. Spell Checking

Always Always Always check your spelling!!! Did I say ALWAYS… before you submit your article, typing a great article with misspelled words will only ruin your reputation and take away the positioning of you as the Expert in your field. Yes, writing quality articles that get traffic will increase traffic to your site will position you as an expert in your field. What else is possible?

5. The 3 Biggest Article Writing Mistakes

1. You don’t start!!! Yes, most people don’t start writing articles. Remember, you do not have to write a masterpiece, you just need to start writing and get them out there. Start today!

2. Writing without giving value or helping the reader to accomplish something. Everything you write
should have a call to action in it, that allows your reader to not only be informed about what you are
sharing, but also something they can do to implement and take action on it.

3. Sharing too much! You need the reader to have a reason to visit your site. If you give them all the
information in the article, then they will just read it and go on their way. Remember, the purpose of
article marketing is to drive people to your site and generate leads… RIGHT? You provide people with
a link to your site so that you can get free traffic, this information is provided in what is called a
resource box.

So there you have it.

Do You Know What Makes A Lead A Lead In Your Home Business?

We have heard of a lead defined in many different ways in the network marketing industry.

Some of those definitions include:

1. An Opt-In on your blog or capture page;
2. An email in your autoresponder;
3. Someone who responded to an advertisement that you posted;
4. All the people in your cell phone contact list;

and my favorite…

5. Your friends and family!!!

Do you believe that these people are really leads?

Let’s take a look at each of them…

People who opted-in on your capture page or blog at the most are someone looking for free stuff or want to see what you have to share and if it has value. Does this sound like a lead or just an interested prospect?

Same goes for people in your autoresponder if they opted-in. If you added them manually to your autoresponder then these are not even interested people, they are people that have no idea why you all of a sudden request to send them stuff… ( Hopefully they at least know you ).

Someone who responds to an Advertisement is probably lead to connect with you because you wrote some good copy and peeked their interest. Sounds still like it is a prospect rather than a lead.

People in your cell phone and your friends and family?

Need I say more?

I think by now you get the picture.

So if these people are not considered leads who would be?

Inquiries are not leads.

People wanting free stuff are not leads.

Neither are those “coveted” lists of names.

And calling these “leads” borders on insulting.

Leads are people who…

1. Are truly interested in talking directly to you about your products and services to see how you can help them
2. Match the profile of your ideal client
3. Have a budget
4. Have a need that you can fulfill
5. Are open to pursuing how you can help them attract new business.

Now that’s a qualified business lead.

And we are in business to build a business right?

So what are the best types of leads?

The best leads are those you have received through a referral. When you receive a qualified referral, you are pre-sold to them by the person who did the referring. You have credibility and trust. Your sales cycle time shortens. And, you have virtually no competition. When you’ve been referred, you get a new partner or customer in your business more than 50% of the time.

How does it get any better than this?

So stop calling everyone and everything a lead!!! Alright?

It’s is a waste of your time.

I’m not just splitting hairs over terminology.

In this volatile economy, it’s easy to be lured by businesses selling you on “leads” that only sit your funnel and don’t deliver any sales.

Can you really afford to attract the wrong kind of customers and partners to your business?
